Cats are obligate carnivores and they were designed by nature to get their protein from meat and organs. Plant proteins lack specific metabolic pathways that cats require for optimum health and function.

Meat

Meat is important for your kitty’s health, so you want to find treats that offer the protein your feline needs. Cooked chicken, turkey, beef, and lean deli meats are all excellent options for healthy treats.
